How to travel Kalikot :
By Train :
From Mangalore Kalikot is at a distance of 220 km. From Kochin 220km. From Trichur 115km. From these places there are several trains throughout the day to travel Kolikot. Those who will go via Palghat, they may avail the link X on 9.25 morning and will reach Kalikot at a distance of 128km. on 12.30 noon. From Palghat two more trains go to Kalikot every day.
From Earnakulam train takes time 5 hours, From Mangalore 5 hours, and from Tirubanvapuram nine and half hours to reach at Kalikat.
By Bus : The Bus stand of Kalikot town is on the Mavur Road. The distance of Bus stand and Kalikat is 1km. Buses are regularly moving up and down from Tiruvantapuram, Kochi, Kattyam, Aleppi, Trichur, Madurai, Mahisur, Bangalore, Pandichari, Utti, Mangalore Maduri and Koembatore etc.
By Air : The airport is at Kalikot the planes of the East West Airways and Indian Airlines Corporation regularly coming from Channai, Bangalore and Mumbai at Kalikot and return.

At the time of departure he distributed his own kingdom to his ministers and commanders. Then he also gifted to Jomorin Tamuri of Kolikot an area of land in all sides of the temple of Talli up to a cock’s crowing distance from the temple. At the end of the midival age a special quality of printed cloth made of India exported in the Europin Countries for sale by sailing ship. At that time the name of the port was kalikot.
