Marine Fisheries Research Centre :
Seeing it seems that you are
standing in front of a temple of 500 years old town of Israyel. Here on a
copper plate there is writing about the agreement of offering of the land as a
gift by the king of Kochin and giving them various advantages. Writings also
can be seen on the holy skin of sheep about ten commandments and the writings
in the Hibru language about the great Scroll of old testaments. The travelers
also be charmed seeing the paintings of hanging lantern from the ceiling and
the system of its preparation. The others which are attractive are the crown
made of silver and the golden garland with 5 golden lockets etc. The
handpainting Chinese tiles of yellow colour and olive leaves used on the floore
of prayer room here must be attracted to the art lovers.
In the year 1662 AD the Partugige
destroyed the tiles. Latter the Dutch businessmen after repairing turned it
into new shape.
