Things to be seen at Kaladi :
Earlier it is said that, Kaladi is
the birth place of Adi Sankaracharya. He ws monist Jagadguru of 8th
century. According to the Monist he was the descent of the Lord. For the
development of ancient Hinduism he appeared in the world from the heven.
Spreading the monist philosophy he engaged himself to turn the illiterate
people towards God. It is heard that, at the age of 16 he wrote the commentary
of the Gita and completed reading of Vedas. To re-establish the Brahminism in
India he has much contribution. He has much fame as a introducer of the
worshiper of Shiva community. He established four Monasteries. Those are
recognized and governed as the hermitage of the Monist. They are a) Sarada
Monestery (Gugrath) b) Sringeri Monastery (Kanetaka) c) Joshi Monastery
(Badarika Ashram of Uttarpradesh) and d) Gobordhan Monestery (Orisha Puridham).
In 830AD at the age of 32 leaving
the earth for ever he went away to his own receptacle.
Ramkrishna Additya Ashram and
Krishna Mandir : The Ashram is situated in a calm and quite beautiful
environment. In the temple of the Ashram being worshiped the image made of
white stone of Lord Ramkrishna.
Among the other temples here are the
Singiri Monastery, the sepulchre of Sankaracharyya and Adi Sankar temple.
