The Museum
of Nepiar : Among the attractive things of Tirubantapuram, the
Museum of Nepiar is also attractive undoubtedly. It was built more than hundred
years. Man Mandir is near the hill. There is preserved a huge cannon on the top
of the public garden and in front of the Museum. The Museum building also bears
the acquaintance of ancient architecture and artistic culture. There preserved
many ancient images made of bronze. Here hundred years old the modle of Nayer
family or temple room is also be attractive to the visitors undoubtedly. The
most attractive here is the image of ‘son of Harihar’. He was born due to
contact of Mahadeb, the God of Goddess and Vishnu in disguise of Mohini. To enter
the temple ticket for Rs 5.00 is required. Every day from 8.30 morning to 6.00
afternoon the temple door remain open.
