Kollam By Train

Kollam By Train : Kollam is an important railway station of Mumbai – Tirubantapuram Channai – Tirubantapuram and Tirubantapuram broadgague railway. On  the way of Tirubantapuram every train take stoppage at Kollam both up and down.
To reach Kollam at a distance at Tirubantapuram time takes 1 to 1 and 10 or 15 minutes. Every ½ - 1 hour except various long distances express trains, different passenger trains of subarb move up and down to Kollam.

At the time of departure he distributed his own kingdom to his ministers and commanders. Then he also gifted to Jomorin Tamuri of Kolikot an area of land in all sides of the temple of Talli up to a cock’s crowing distance from the temple. At the end of the midival age a special quality of printed cloth made of India exported in the Europin Countries for sale by sailing ship. At that time the name of the port was kalikot. Then it was famous as a tourist centre and a industrial centre as well. Obtaining the landed property from the King of Kalikot the English constructed here their business centre.
