Temple
of Sri Janardan Swami : The temple is surrounded with rows of coconut
trees and on the top of the hill an exquisitely beautiful. It was built in the
1252 AD. It’s architectural and sculptural skillfulness is instant of an old
one. On the sand stone of the temple the engraved work is praiseworthly
undoubtedly. To the local people the four handed lord Krishna lying in the
temple considered as alive. The image has conch, discus and lotous in hand. The
Arao festival is gorgeously organized here in the month of March – April. There
is a huge sounding plate of bell-metal. It was gifted by a Dutch native.
The field
of festival remain opulent due to arrival of pilgrims of far and near for 10
days at a stretch.
