Jagaddalpur : Jagaddalpur is on the 1824ft high from land level and the gate way
of Bustar, the sadar District of Chatrishgar. Any one be charmed at the beauty
of nature and charming environment of Jagaddalpur. At the border of Orisa
Jagaddalpur is also one of the “Pit” (famous place of pilgrimage) among
“Shaktipits”. Teeth of Sati have fallen
here. At a distance there is the temple of Bhubaneswari. Devi Bhubaneswari is
alive. Visitors come here from far away. They worship and fulfil a vow. There
is custom to enter the temple wering “Dhuti” to the male visitors. Besides these,
to the visitors Jagaddalpur is known for its chitrakot waterfalls. Chitrakot
waterfalls is the miniature figure of Nayagar. This hilly river of Orisa
created an excellent beauty falling a 9633 dawn of Bindha range of hills. At a
distance of 43km South-West of Jagaddalpur the branchriver of kangay flows down
from 110m from Munagata creeted the Taritgar waterfalls and a natural charming.
The another attraction of Jagaddalpur is kangerghat national forest. The forest
is sq. km and there are Tiger, Leopard, Wild hog, rhinoceros, deer, chital and
various unknown birds and through the deep forest flowing kange river.
